Bremerhaven is the seaport of the city-state of Bremen and is located at the mouth of the River Weser on the North Sea. The German Emigration Center in Bremerhaven marks this North Sea port where millions of European emigrants set sail for America and beyond. After visiting the emigration center, our ten-day Ostfriesland ancestral Lutheran churches tour began with presentations at the Pilsum and Schorten churches.
