The jewels of today would include visits to and presentations from the churches located in Leerhafe, Marx, Reepsholt, and Etzel. In particular, the St. Maruitius Lutheran Church in Reepsholt, the wedding site for one of my great grandparents. The present grounds date from the first half of the 14th century, and historical city circular tours are currently available.
