Today’s church visitation race included churches in the following locations: Bagband, Hesel, Holtrop, Ihrhove, Remels, and Strackholt, as well as a stop at the Rhauderfehn Museum and a climb up the Spetzerfehn Windmill. It really didn’t matter if flour dust covered our clothes, dotted our hair, or speckled our faces upon entering the bus for the last time of the day. By then exhausted participants plopped themselves one more time onto the bus seat. Someone jokingly asked, “Are we going to another church today? We haven’t had enough yet.” It was a good day!
