Our friends, Nainhard and Helga Leenderts, joined us at the Blummenhalle in Wiesmoor the day before. My cousin and I traveled back to Oltsmannsfehn with them and spent the next two days with the Leenderts, enjoying their company and beautiful yard. On this day they graciously drove us to the open-air museum in Cloppenburg, a very interesting place for sure. The day was filled to capacity while we also dropped in on family members and neighbors, visited local cemeteries, and stopped at a nearby rhododendron park.
